  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the grated zucchini, brown sugar, and applesauce until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool before serving.
