Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake

A delicious and simple recipe for a Spicy Salmon Sushi Bake that you can easily prepare at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. In a pot, combine the sushi rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover for 20 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  5. Once the rice is cooked, spread it in a baking dish and layer the salmon mixture on top.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through.
  8. Serve warm with nori and enjoy!

Notes

  • Can substitute tuna for salmon if desired.
