Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, thyme, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until chicken is tender.
  4. Shred the chicken and return to the slow cooker.
  5. Flatten the biscuit dough and cut into pieces.
  6. Place the biscuit dough pieces on top of the chicken.
  7. Cover and cook for an additional 1 hour on high.
