Red Pepper Pasta

A delicious and creamy pasta dish featuring red peppers, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 4 ounces chicken ham, diced
  • 2 red bell peppers, roasted and pureed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Add chicken ham and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the roasted red pepper puree and heavy cream, mixing well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add the grated parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, tossing to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with additional parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute any pasta type you prefer.
  • This dish can be made vegetarian by omitting the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
