Raspberry Swirl Brioche Loaf Recipe

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  6. Roll the dough out, spread raspberry jam on top, and roll it up to form a loaf.
  7. Place the loaf in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract to the dough.
  • Experiment with other fruit preserves if desired.
