Pretzel Bottom Caramel Brownies – Sweet, Salty & Decadently Gooey!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. Pour caramel sauce over the pretzel crust.
  4. In another bowl, mix sugars, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Add flour and stir until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and pour the brownie batter over the caramel layer.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra crunch, sprinkle some sea salt on top before baking.
  • Serve warm with ice cream for a delicious treat.
