  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions; set aside.
  2. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove and chop.
  3. In the same pot, brown the ground turkey with onion and garlic.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in the ricotta and cooked noodles just before serving.
  7. Top each bowl with mozzarella cheese and chopped bacon.
