- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter.
- Add baking soda and salt. Mix well.
- Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Add the flour and mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Pour half of the banana bread mix into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
- Swirl the mixture with a knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
