- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
- 6 cups beef broth
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic to the pot; cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, lasagna noodles, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until noodles are cooked.
- Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese just before serving.
