Easy Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

This Easy Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup is a delightful combination of tender chicken, creamy broth, and savory turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles and cook for 7-8 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
  5. Reduce the heat and add in the shredded chicken, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  6. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  7. Serve hot, topped with crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, you can add a cornstarch slurry.
  • Feel free to substitute the chicken with leftover rotisserie chicken.
