- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic until softened.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in the egg noodles and cook until tender.
- Add the shredded chicken, heavy cream, cooked bacon, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes, then serve warm.
