Easy Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

A deliciously creamy chicken noodle soup enhanced with turkey bacon for added flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. Add onion and garlic to the pot, sauté until translucent.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add shredded chicken, carrots, celery, and noodles. Cook until noodles are tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon. Simmer for a few more minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • This soup can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Adjust the seasonings to taste.
