Easy Boursin Mac and Cheese

This creamy, savory mac and cheese elevates traditional comfort food with Boursin cheese, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup Boursin cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy; remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and whisk in the flour to create a roux.
  4. Gradually add the milk, stirring until thickened.
  5. Stir in Boursin cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni, chicken ham, and half of the crumbled turkey bacon; mix well.
  7. Pour the mixture into a baking dish, top with remaining cheese and turkey bacon.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding minced garlic or chopped onions.
  • Feel free to swap the turkey bacon for regular bacon if desired.
