Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites

Deliciously crispy salmon bites coated with a spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for a quick and easy appetizer.

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in a second bowl, and panko in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each salmon piece in flour, then egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Arrange the coated salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to make the bang bang sauce.
  8. Serve the crispy salmon bites with the bang bang sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in soy sauce before breading.
  • Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
