  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  2. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
