- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Thinly slice the potatoes and layer half of them in the baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour half of the mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the turkey bacon and cheese over the layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, turkey bacon, and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
