- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and drain excess fat.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning; stir to combine.
- Return the sausage to the skillet and mix well.
- Add the cooked rigatoni and Parmesan cheese; stir until combined and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with parsley before serving.
