- 4 cups sliced mushrooms
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and chop.
- Add onions and garlic to the pot and sauté until soft.
- Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir for one minute.
- Slowly add chicken broth while stirring, then bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and thyme. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add chopped turkey bacon back to the pot and heat through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
