  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a pot until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add diced chicken, broth, water, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in milk until a dough forms.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the boiling soup.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
  6. Top with crumbled turkey bacon and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding herbs like thyme or parsley.
