Classic Coleslaw

A delicious twist on the classic coleslaw recipe featuring turkey bacon for added flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 head red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 large carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded green and red cabbage, and shredded carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Fold in the crumbled turkey bacon.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, add sliced almonds or sunflower seeds.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your taste.
