Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Trifle

A rich and decadent trifle layered with chocolate cake, creamy peanut butter and whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate cake crumbs
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding
  • 1/2 cup crushed chocolate peanut butter cups

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake crumbs with half of the whipped cream.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the peanut butter and remaining whipped cream until smooth.
  3. Layer the chocolate cake mixture and peanut butter mixture in a trifle dish.
  4. Add a layer of chocolate pudding and top with crushed peanut butter cups.
  5. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat peanut butter and sugar-free pudding.
  • This dessert can be made a day ahead for convenience.
