Cajun Potato Soup

A creamy and flavorful Cajun Potato Soup made with turkey bacon and chicken ham for a delightful comfort dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add the onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and chicken ham, then pour in the chicken broth.
  4. Bring to a boil and then simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the cream and Cajun seasoning, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with the crispy turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • This soup can be made thicker by mashing some of the potatoes.
  • Adjust the Cajun spice to your heat preference.
