Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix wet ingredients: egg, buttermilk, melted butter, and peppermint extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill the donut pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Let donuts cool, then prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and peppermint extract.
