  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced
  • 4 tortillas, warmed

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, and salt.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  3. In another bowl, mix cabbage, cilantro, and lime juice to prepare the slaw.
  4. Assemble the taco bowls by placing tortillas at the bottom, then add shrimp, slaw, and slices of avocado on top.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add jalapeños to the slaw.
  • Can be served with additional lime wedges for garnish.
