  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add asparagus to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add cooked pasta and bacon to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  6. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Serve warm.
