Aromatic Ginger Chicken Noodle Soup with Jammy Quail Eggs

A delightful and hearty soup combining fragrant ginger, tender chicken, and rich quail eggs.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 4 quail eggs
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the grated ginger and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add chicken thighs and cook until browned.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions.
  5. In a separate pot, boil water and add quail eggs. Cook for 4 minutes, then transfer to cold water.
  6. Peel the quail eggs and set aside.
  7. Stir green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper into the soup.
  8. Serve the soup hot, garnished with jammy quail eggs.

Notes

  • For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken in ginger and soy sauce for a few hours before cooking.
  • Adjust the quantity of ginger according to your taste preference.
