  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped apples
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, applesauce, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in chopped apples.
  5. Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  6. Let it cool before drizzling with a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
